At University of Victoria's Moving Trans Histories Forward Conference, Kael will be giving an online presentation titled, "'Somewhere in Between:' Using Multi-media Stories as Trans Pedagogy in Post-secondary Classrooms." Exact time of presentation TBA.
At the annual conference of Canadian Society for Studies in Education, Kael will present a paper titled, "Re-imagining and Re-encountering the Stories of Our Past: Singing Queer and Trans Activism into the Present Through the Pedagogy of Song." This paper focuses on Kael's collaborative ethnographic songwriting method and their recent collaboration with Tara Goldstein on her archival research-informed theatre project, "The Love Booth and Other Plays."
